The Granville County Animal Control Facility is located at 524 East Industry Drive, Oxford NC.
Directions from I 85. Take exit 204 onto Hwy 96. From I 85 South, turn Left off the exit ramp, from I 85 North, turn Right off the exit Ramp. At the first stoplight, turn Left onto Industry Drive. The Animal Shelter is on the Left across the street from the Granville Corners Shopping Center.
From Raleigh: Take Creedmoor Road (Hwy 50) North into Creedmoor. At stoplight, follow signs to Hwy 15. Turn Right onto Hwy 15 North. Take I 85 North exit. Stay on interstate for 2 miles, then Exit onto Hwy 96. Follow above directions.
The shelter is open: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-12pm and Wednesday 1pm-5pm for Animal Adoptions, Pet Redemption and Rabies Vaccinations.

There are many items that the shelter can use to help increase the comfort and adoptability of the animals housed there. A few items are listed below.
SHELTER WISH LIST:
Cat litter (always needed)
High Quality Kitten Food (especially in spring)
High Quality Puppy Food (especially in spring)
Digital Thermometers
Blankets/dog beds
Exercise pens & chain link kennels for outside exercise
Collars/Leashes
Washable dog and cat toys
Items can be brought to the shelter during their normal hours or locked in drop boxes located outside of the shelter.
Monetary Donations can be made to The Humane Society of Granville County. Please specify how you would like the donation used. The HSGC has purchased several banks of cat caging for the shelter, as well as vaccines, bowls and other supplies. The shelter has used all of the items and has requested other assistance, but we can not help without your support.
